Frequently Asked Questions
What is the fastest single board computer in PassMark?
The Radxa Orion O6N 32GB currently tops our PassMark ranking with 7,269 (CPU Mark), measured on real hardware with our standardised test setup.
What is a good PassMark score for an SBC?
Across the 95 boards we have tested, PassMark results range from 92 to 7,269 (CPU Mark), with a median of 1,145. Anything above the median puts a board in the faster half of the market.
About PassMark SBC Benchmark Rankings testing
PassMark PerformanceTest is a widely used commercial benchmark, and its Linux edition gives us two headline numbers. CPU Mark combines integer, floating point, prime number, sorting, encryption, compression and physics tests across every core into one score. Memory Mark covers RAM read and write speed, latency and database-style operations, so it is a good indicator of how much a board's memory subsystem holds its CPU back. We run the official PassMark build at the medium test length with the same settings on every board. Both scores sit on PassMark's own scale, so they can be compared with results for desktop PCs as well. Higher is better.
