Expert Summary

The Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+ is the short-form version of the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, using the same 1.4 GHz quad-core Broadcom BCM2837B0 and the same 2.4/5 GHz 802.11ac wireless and Bluetooth 4.2. It drops the ethernet port and reduces the board to a single USB 2.0 port and 512 MB of LPDDR2, on a 65 x 56.5 mm footprint. It keeps the 40-pin GPIO header, CSI and DSI connectors, full-size HDMI and the 4-pole composite/audio jack.
