Frequently Asked Questions

What is the fastest single board computer in Geekbench 6?

The Orange Pi 6 Plus 32GB currently tops our Geekbench 6 ranking with 7,130 (Multi-Core Score), measured on real hardware with our standardised test setup.

What is a good Geekbench 6 score for an SBC?

Across the 68 boards we have tested, Geekbench 6 results range from 180 to 7,130 (Multi-Core Score), with a median of 1,440. Anything above the median puts a board in the faster half of the market.

About Geekbench 6 SBC Benchmark Rankings testing

Geekbench 6 is the industry-standard cross-platform CPU benchmark. The single-core score reflects per-core speed, which drives responsiveness in desktop use and single-threaded workloads, while the multi-core score shows what the whole chip can deliver when every core is loaded. We run the official Linux build on each board using the same settings every time. Note that Geekbench 6 needs a healthy amount of RAM to complete, so boards with very little memory cannot run it; our 7-Zip ranking covers those, which is why it spans more hardware than any other test on the site.
