About Geekbench 7 SBC Benchmark Rankings testing
Geekbench 7 is the latest generation of the industry-standard cross-platform CPU benchmark. The single-core score reflects per-core speed, which drives responsiveness in desktop use and single-threaded workloads, while the multi-core score shows what the whole chip can deliver when every core is loaded. We run the official Linux build on each board using the same settings every time. Like its predecessor, Geekbench 7 needs a healthy amount of RAM to complete, so boards with very little memory cannot run it; our 7-Zip ranking covers those, which is why it spans more hardware than any other test on the site.
